Low-tech Patient-Safe Method

Levine Machine LLC proposes a relatively low-tech, patient-safe method of treating people by stimulating their immune system to fight off (inactivate) SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). The three levels of protocol indicating different gradients of invasiveness for the immuno-boost. All levels manifest the unique properties of Riboflavin to penetrate and inactivate a pathogen.

UV light in combination with Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) is a scientifically-documented method to inactivate pathogens and is used in several countries to treat blood units to be used for transfusion. In short, Riboflavin interacts with RNA and DNA, and with activation from UV light, imparts irreversible damage to nucleic acid, inactivating pathogens. Protein is not altered by this treatment which means antigenic structures of pathogens are left intact.

Whole, inactivated virus particles can stimulate an immune response that may lead to the formation of IgG antibodies and memory cells in the human body. This triggered immune response (formation of antibodies and creation of memory cells) is the basic concept of a vaccine using inactivated pathogens.
